Most of us have been conditioned over the years to believe that work is a place to produce (and to perform). And while productive action is great, we too often pursue this at the expense of our humanity. The problem isn't only that we try to leave our "personal life" at home—it's that we expect everyone else at work to do the same, too.

No matter how hard we try, workplaces will always be filled with messy, unique, beautiful humans, often sharing more time together in each others' company than with anyone else on earth.
